The Smithsonian Associates Art Collectors Program commissions American artists to create limited-edition works of art on paper that are available for purchase.The hand-pulled lithographs, screen prints, aquatints, and linocuts are signed and numbered by the artists and are printed on fine-quality papers by leading printers.All prints come with a Certificate of Authenticity from the Smithsonian.
Many of the commissioned works of art are in the permanent collections of major museums, including the National Gallery of Art, the HirshhornMuseum and SculptureGarden, the Museum of Modern Art, and the SmithsonianAmericanArt Museum, as well as public and private collections around the world.Artists include Wolf Kahn, Sean Scully, Sol LeWitt, Robert Kushner, James Rosenquist, Elizabeth Catlett, LeRoy Neiman, Philip Guston, April Gornik and many others.
