Toni L. Hunter first began selling Japanese Woodblock Prints in late 1975 at the Nippon Club, a private Japanese club on West 57th Street in New York City. She then went on to establish Shogun Gallery in Georgetown, Washington, DC in 1978. Shogun Gallery is now located online as well as at exhibitions and shows in the Northern Virginia, Maryland and Washington, DC area.
Shogun Gallery is one of the world's largest dealers of original, museum-quality Japanese Woodblock Prints. The Gallery offers the discriminating collector the finest prints by the great masters dating from the late-1700's to the present. We present a large selection of prints for sale, most of which were culled from Toni's private collection started in the late 1960's.
