M. Lee Stone Fine Prints, Inc. was established in 1975 specializing in American Works of Art on Paper. Our focus has been on the early part of the 20th Century, including the depression era and WPA artists. We have expanded our range of artwork moving forward from this period and into the 21st Century. Our inventory includes a wide variety social commentary, industrial scenes, cityscapes, men working, women working, abstraction, color prints and watercolors.
The gallery represents numerous artist’s estates including Lou Barlow, Richard V. Correll, Don Freeman, Leon Gilmour, Hildegarde Haas, J. Jay McVicker, Prentiss Taylor and others. We represent the following living artists, Juan Fuentes, James Routh and Bonnie Stone.
The gallery also has a special interest in African American artists and represent the estates of Elizabeth Catlett, Ralph A. Chesse, and Rose Piper.
