This is the third year that Capital Art will be bringing an exhibition of original prints, drawings, paintings and photography to the Washington D.C. area the first weekend of April at the Holiday Inn / Rossyln Westpark Hotel.Capital Art is the successor of both the Washington International Print Fair and the Washington Print Fair.
Capital Art offers the Washington D.C. area an incredible opportunity to see many great works of art and talk with exhibitors who are highly respected experts in their field.Many of these exhibitors are well known to the curators of museums in the nation's capital and are members of The International Fine Print Dealers Association, founded in 1987.The IFPDA is dedicated to promoting greater appreciation and understanding of the fine print art form and to supporting the highest standards of quality and ethical practice.
Twenty five dealers from across the United States and Canada will be exhibiting thousands of works on paper, from documented works of great masters to cutting edge contemporary creations spanning over a period of more than 500 years.
